About Liana Lowenstein

Liana Lowenstein is the owner and founder of Champion Press and author of numerous publications. Her publications include the highly acclaimed Paper Dolls and Paper Airplanes: Therapeutic Exercises for Sexually Traumatized Children (with Crisci & Lay, 1997), Creative Interventions for Troubled Children & Youth (1999), Creative Interventions for Bereaved Children (2006), Cory Helps Kids Cope with Divorce, and Creative CBT Interventions for Children with Anxiety.

Liana is also the editor of Assessment and Treatment Activities for Children, Adolescents, and Families: Practitioners Share Their Most Effective Techniques (Volumes One through Three, 2008–2011) and Creative Family Therapy Techniques: Play, Art, and Expressive Activities to Engage Children in Family Sessions (2010).

Liana is a child and family therapist in Toronto, Canada, in practice since 1988, and lectures internationally on childhood trauma.
